The artisans have been following their traditional techniques with pride and passion in order to sustain their cultural heritage which has been passed down for many generations. Unfortunately, as the days pass it is becoming more difficult for them to compete with many of the new industrial techniques. 
As opposed to today’s mass production, with this centuries-old technique they can only weave a few towels per day. It is said that not only the handmade process but even the artisan’s emotions make a difference on each item, which makes these towels not only authentic but also very special and unique.
